Product Description

SensID n-ctDNA is an intensively characterized human cfDNA reference material produced from SensID’s proprietary lymphoblastoid cell line BDXXP4 using a nucleosome-driven fragmentation process. Production from alternative cell lines is available upon request.

The material has an exceptionally low mutational background noise and a nucleosomal size distribution, supporting robust establishment of Limit of Blank (LOB), Limit of Detection (LOD), and Limit of Quantification (LOQ) in highly sensitive NGS workflows, including minimal residual disease (MRD) applications.

SensID n-ctDNA demonstrates high library conversion efficiency and is designed to be platform agnostic (e.g. for PCR and NGS assays).

Key Features

  • Exceptionally low mutational background, enabling sensitive detection limits in NGS and MRD assays.
  • Nucleosome-driven fragmentation profile that mimics natural cfDNA characteristics.
  • High library conversion efficiency for reliable sequencing results.
  • Wild type for most genes, as verified by whole-exome sequencing (WES); cell line–specific sequencing files available upon request.
  • Manufactured from human lymphoblastoid cells (BDXXP4), alternative cell lines available upon request

  • Wild type for most genes with cell line specific sequencing files available upon request.

Intended Use:

SensID n-ctDNA is suited for use in molecular biology and liquid biopsy workflows, including:

  • Development and validation of NGS assays.
  • Development and validation of PCR and sequencing protocols (e.g. Amplicon sequencing).
  • Determination of assay detection limits (LOB / LOD / LOQ).
  • Minimal residual disease (MRD) assay development.

Using as Full Workflow Control:

For full workflow controls, use SensID n-ctDNA together with DNA-depleted plasma to create plasma samples at desired concentrations
